I would like to thank everyone for coming out to support the family and share in the homegoing for Shirley. It is amazing how many people this soft spoken woman touched during her lifetime. Through the love and care that she gave to so many, her legacy will live on for many generations. Although I will dearly miss her, I take comfort in the knowledge she is with the Lord now and he is caring for her better than we ever could.
A forever grateful sister.

Dear DeDe, It was with deepest regrets and sorrow that I learned of the passing of your wife , Shirley Mc Kinney. You, Shirley, and I share a tradition rich and valuable past as classmates and citizens of River Rouge. The love, kindness, and compassion shown by each of you toward yourselves and others during your life together is a gift that I will always cherish. Please accept our heart felt condolences and fondest memories of you and Shirley, The Popyk Family, Walt, Judy, Marvin, and Marilyn

DeDe: Both you and Shirley were two of the very nicest people I know. Shirley was so quiet and low spoken whenever we would talk at Ann Visger and when we were all retired. I never knew her to have a bad word towards anyone. I still hope to run into you when you buy the paper at the local drug stores. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. David and Sandy Beymer
