Myers
Lloyd W. Myers, Jr, 84, of Lancaster, passed away on Sunday at the Lebanon Veterans Administration Hospital, Lebanon, PA. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Lloyd W. and Myrtle Kissinger Myers.

Lloyd had owned and operated his own landscaping business, L.W. Myers Landscaping in the Lancaster area for many years. He was a veteran of the United States Army during World War II and was a member and supporter of the American Legion. He was an avid fisherman, who enjoyed writing and reading poetry, and loved animals. He was a taxidermist in his early years.

He is survived by his nieces: Della V. Caldwell of Pottstown and Debra Mae, wife of Scott Yeager of Lancaster, a nephew, Timothy Myers of Lancaster; great nieces: Kellie and Aubrey Caldwell of Pottstown and Shelley Myers of Lancaster; great nephew Sean Donahue, and wife Audra, of Pasadena, CA, and numerous other nieces and nephews. Lloyd was preceded in death by his sisters: Mollie Spece, Esther Scott, Miriam Stockstill, Doris Shollenberger and Nancy Myers and his brothers: Stanley, Benjamin, Mark and Andrew (twins), and Donald Myers.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his Life Celebration Graveside Service on Friday, August 8th, at 11:00 AM at Conestoga Memorial Park, Second Lock Rd., Lancaster, PA. The Red Rose Veterans Honor Guard will render military honors. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent in Lloyd’s memory to the Water Street Rescue Mission, 210 S. Prince St., Lancaster, PA 17603.
