Butz
Marjory L. Butz, 95, of Coudersport, PA died Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at Sweden Valley Manor in Coudersport.

Born on June 7, 1916 in Colesburg, PA she was the daughter of Edgar Harvey and Katherine Anna Mosch Tucker. On December 14, 1940 in the All Saints Church at Brookland she married Wilson C. "Will" Butz, who died on January 13, 2000.

Mrs. Butz was a graduate of Coudersport High School and was valedictorian of her class. She had been employed at Coudersport Insuring Co. and was later employed as a secretary for the Pennsylvania State Soil and Conservation Service. She was a member of Park United Methodist Church and a former member of Eulalia Chapter #148 Order of the Eastern Star. She was also a volunteer in the office for the American Cancer Society.

Surviving are her three children, Wilson E. Butz and his wife, Sarah, of Monument, CO, Roberta A. Ulkins and her husband, Dennis, of Rochester, NY, Roger C. Butz and his wife, Rae of Chandler, AZ, six grandsons, one granddaughter, seven great-grandsons, seven great-granddaughters, two sisters, Beatrice "Tootie" Clark and her husband, Milford, of Coudersport, Ruth Thompson of Colesburg, PA, one brother, Edgar "Sonny" Tucker and his wife, Dorla, of Coudersport, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one brother, Franklin "Bub" Tucker.

Friends are invited to Marjory's Life Celebration beginning on Saturday, November 12, 2011 at the Coudersport Alliance Church with a memorial service beginning at 2:00pm. The family will receive friends following the service for a time of fellowship. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Woodland Cemetery at Five Corners.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Marjory's name may be made to Potter County Hospice, 1001 E. Second St., Coudersport, PA 16915, or to the American Cancer Society, or to Woodland Cemetery Association, c/o Mr. John Peet, 407 W. Hebron Road, Coudersport, PA 16915. Arrangements are under the direction of the Fickinger Funeral Home of Coudersport.
