Zelenevich
Nicholas Zelenevich, of Carversville, son of the late William and Antinona Marchinoska Zelenevich died Saturday June 30, 2012 of cancer, at the age of 82.
Nick is survived by his wife of 56 years, Carole Freitag Zelenevich. Father of Janet Manley, Mary Anne Troia, John Zelenevich and William Zelenevich. He was preceded in death by a son, Gary Zelenevich.. He was the proud grandfather of 7 grandchildren. He is also survived by sisters, Mary Tennock, Catherine Fash, Helen Van Horn, Anastasia Flagler, Olga Hyatt and Tillie Winton. He was preceded in death by sisters, Anna Wiggins, Jean Zelenevich and brother, William Zelenevich Jr.
Born on a dairy farm in Carversville, then a police officer with Solebury Township, correctional officer at the old Bucks County Prison, then a Bucks County Parole Officer. He was the first superintendent of the new Bucks County Rehab Center in Warrington. He then was the proud owner of Carversville Plumbing and Heating Co. and the original owner of the Carversville General Store until his retirement. Even in retirement, he was very active on the farm, tending to his orchard and vegetable and floral gardens.
Relatives and friends are invited to share in Nick's Life Celebration Saturday from 10-11 am at Leaver Cable of Buckingham, Rt. 202 & Quarry Rd., where services will be at 11 am. Inurnment will follow at Carversville Cemetery.
